1. Controller
Kajbes Middle East L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”) is the controller for personal data processed through this website. Contact: [e-mail protected].
2. Applicable law
Our processing is governed primarily by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and its implementing regulation (Cabinet Resolution No. 33 of 2024), supervised by the UAE Data Office. Where visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom or Bosnia and Herzegovina use this website, the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 and the Law on Protection of Personal Data of Bosnia and Herzegovina apply in addition, to the extent relevant.
3. What this website does — and does not — collect
- No accounts, no forms, no newsletter. This website offers no login and collects no data via input fields.
- No tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or third-party analytics of any kind.
- Local display preferences only. Your theme (dark/light) and map-style choices are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They contain no personal data and are never transmitted to us.
4. Server log data
When you visit this website, the hosting infrastructure automatically processes technical connection data (IP address, date and time of the request, requested resource, browser type). This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to defend it against attacks and misuse (legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website; PDPL Art. 4 and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted or anonymised within a short routine period unless a specific security incident requires longer retention as evidence.
5. Third-party content
To display country flags, this website loads small image files from flagcdn.com (Flagpedia). When these are loaded, your IP address is technically disclosed to that content delivery network. No other third-party resources are embedded.
6. Contact by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail, we process the data you provide (your address, the content of your message) solely to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship (legal basis: performance of or steps prior to a contract; otherwise legitimate interest). Correspondence is retained only as long as required by commercial and tax law in the relevant jurisdiction.
7. International transfers
The Kajbes Group operates entities in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina. E-mail correspondence may be handled by group entities in these countries. Transfers take place only with appropriate safeguards as required by the PDPL and, where applicable, Chapter V GDPR.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the applicable law, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw any consent with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, contact [e-mail protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in the UAE the UAE Data Office; in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); in the EU your local data protection authority; in Bosnia and Herzegovina the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZLP).
9. Security
This website is a static site without databases or user accounts, which keeps its attack surface deliberately small. It is delivered over encrypted connections (TLS), applies a restrictive Content Security Policy, loads scripts only from verified sources with integrity checks, and does not execute third-party tracking code. Hosting-level protections (traffic filtering, rate limiting and DDoS mitigation) are applied by our infrastructure provider.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when the website's functionality or the legal situation changes. The date above indicates the current version.
Template for review: have this policy checked by legal counsel (UAE PDPL and, if applicable, GDPR/UK GDPR) before publication, and confirm the hosting provider's log-retention practice matches Section 4.
